Tintware Documentation : Tint Emacs : Microsoft Windows CompatibilityMicrosoft Windows CompatibilityC-x C-y (which is bound to clipboard-paste) uses the contents of the Windows clipboard as the text to be pasted. All commands which add to the kill ring, also get copied to the Windows clipboard. The net effect is that Tint Emacs can exchange text with other programs using copy and paste. Tint Emacs (wemacs) can be used as the drop target for files. For example, you can drag files from Windows Explorer to Tint Emacs and Tint Emacs will load the files. Automation and Type Librarieslist-type-libraries will list of the type libraries currently installed on the system. describe-type-library will prompt for the name of type library and then will list the contents of the type library in a readable format. describe-automation-object will prompt for an object and then will attempt to list the type library describing the object. Shell ExtensionA shell extension can be enabled which will add a menu item to all context menus in the shell: Open with Tint Emacs. This will open the specified file in Tint Emacs. The start menu entries for Tintware contain items to enable and disable the shell extension. |
